Enthusiasm for the Breath of the Wild sequel is still filling the Nintendo community. Unfortunately, the producer Eiji Aonuma said that the sequel still needs a lot of time to make it as good or even better than Breath of the Wild. To fill the void for a sequel, Nintendo collaborated with Koei Tecmo to work on a prequel game.
Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity is a prequel game that tells Link’s war, Zelda, and the Champions against Calamity Ganon’s troops. For those of you who played Breath of The Wild, of course, you know what happened, but now you will witness the fate of each character before BoTW.
Like the Warriors game, this game will provide a typical one against a thousand gameplay like Dynasty Warriors. Even though the gameplay is faster and frontal, other aspects such as story, visuals, and design have been made as close as possible to Breath of the Wild.
Not only playing as Link, but you will also play as Zelda and again Champions starting from Daruk, Mipha, Revali, and Urbosa. Each character will have their uniqueness even though they have the same gameplay reps.
Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity will be releasing on November 20, 2020, for Nintendo Switch.
