During today’s State of Play, Sony shared with players the first gameplay images of Horizon Forbidden West, which will arrive on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 at an unannounced date.
The event showed us 14 minutes of gameplay captured on a PlayStation 5, where we could see Aloy again, new machine designs, weapons, skills, and an incredibly colorful environment.
The mechanics we already knew about Horizon Zero Dawn are present. Still, new ones like diving and swimming underwater or the existence of parachutes have been introduced, just as Link got used to in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.
As mentioned above, Horizon Forbidden West will be cross-gen, meaning it will be available for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. Guerrilla Games promises more details until launch.
