The official website of GOG, the CD Projekt Red online store specializing in the sale of PC video games without DRM (Digital Rights Management), recently updated the Hollow Knight: Silksong card in the PC and mobile versions. They added some pretty exciting details about the new project by Team Cherry. However, at the moment, there is no official announcement.
Although it may seem a minor addition, usually online stores such as Steam, Epic Games Store, and the GOG itself do not update a game’s card before having received a confirmation from the developers, and considering that even according to the NVIDIA GeForce Now leak the game should be released in 2022, we can assume that the works have actually entered the last phase and that the release is not that far away.
Of course, these are mere speculations, but the fact that the release date section doesn’t carry the usual “TBA” certainly bodes well. The game has been in development for just over two years, the same time it took Team Cherry to make the first chapter, so it makes sense that the work is almost completed.
