Announced last June 12 during the Xbox & Bethesda Games Showcase, High on Life has a release date on Xbox One, Xbox Series X / S, and PC. Squanch Games’ biopunk shooter, born as a Stadia exclusive, will be released on October 25 on all Xbox ecosystem platforms. Xbox Game Pass subscribers can play it on day one at no additional cost.
High on Life was born from the mind of Justin Roiland, co-creator of the animated TV series Rick and Morty, and tells the story of an interplanetary bounty hunter engaged in repelling an alien invasion. To support the protagonist in this mission, we find a series of talking firearms, which in between kills, will throw up jokes and joke with the protagonist. With a biopunk style with a rather marked comedy side, this single-player experience promises an intense and fun campaign in a curated world with paradisiacal jungles and cities built on asteroids to be explored.
High on Life is one of the few Xbox exclusives coming out this year and will land on October 25 on consoles, PC, and Game Pass.
