Greeted 2021, all the great video game producers in the world are preparing for another year full of commitments and deadlines to be met, and Kojima Productions is undoubtedly not far behind. The Death Stranding studio is currently working on a new video game. While the hardcore of the software house is committed to giving life to this mysterious project, it seems that the founder, Hideo Kojima intends to start expanding his influence far beyond the world of video games.
The legendary Japanese developer talked about his New Year plans on Twitter, sharing an interesting message that sheds light on his plans. In addition to continuing work on the video game, which in his tweet he defines as a “radical project that will soon reach a new level of experimentation,” Kojima said he wanted to take care of the new division for films personally. TV series opened in November and intended to start a mysterious “radio project.”
As for the new video game, at the moment, we know that Kojima has completed the script and perhaps that Norman Reedus will return as the protagonist. In addition to this project, it seems that the father of Metal Gear Solid and Death Stranding is also willing to give the first indications to the new Los Angeles studio in the hands of Riley Russell. Perhaps to create television tie-ins related to his video games and finally, kick off a radio program. Three commitments will certainly require a huge waste of time, but also anticipate 2022, in which we will see Hideo Kojima more active than ever, and for the first time, not only on the gaming front.
What do you think of it? Which of the projects would you like to be given priority? Tell us in the comments!
