As promised, the guys at 343 Industries have released the first trailer for the PC version of Halo Infinite out on December 8, 2021, worldwide. The video preview does not show sections of the single-player campaign but reveals an avalanche of improvements made by the development team, and in conclusion, presents the new GPU created in collaboration with AMD.
The video released by the developers shows some of the main features of the PC version, such as the ability to set a minimum and maximum fps number, ultra-wide support, adjustable graphic details, the ability to remap controller, mouse, and keyboard, and the new anti-cheat system. In addition, the team confirms the presence of cross-play between all platforms and cross-progression between PC and Xbox for Game Pass subscribers.
In conclusion, 343 Industries unveiled the new AMD Radeon RX 6900 XT Halo Infinite Limited Edition graphics card made by AMD to celebrate the launch of Halo Infinite and the two-year collaboration with Microsoft. As specified on the game’s official website, the GPU cannot be purchased but only “won” by participating in one of the initiatives that will be unveiled over the next few days.
At the moment, no one can get their hands on this splendid graphics card. As you can see below, it has several features in common with the design of Master Chief, including the edges of the iridium fan, the iconic “117” symbol of the Spartan, and a “Cortana blue” light inspired by the AI slot located on the back of the protagonist’s helmet.
Halo Infinite will be available from December 8, 2021, on Xbox One, Xbox Series X / S, and PC and will be downloadable for free on day one by all Game Pass subscribers. 343 Industries will release new content for 2022.
