It’s official: Sony announced PSVR2 and, after this great news, many others followed, as is the case of Horizon: Call of the Mountain, which, according to the company, will completely change the meaning of a AAA game, elevating it the concept of virtual reality.
Ambitious and extremely committed to ‘killing’ the fans’ curiosity, Sony has already shown some details about the title that will allow players to explore the world of the Horizon franchise, promising “a new level of immersion in a unique experience, designed to boost technology hardware, innovation, and gameplay.” The question that hangs in the air is: “What about existing titles, from other devices?” – Nick Baker, the co-founder of Xbox Era, has an answer to give in this regard.
In a recent tweet, Baker is a well-known leaker in the community and stated that Valve and Sony have already made a deal for Half-Life: Alyx to appear on PSVR2. However, it says (yet) it doesn’t have a date that points to the arrival of one of the most famous virtual reality titles to Sony’s future device.
Although Baker shows a lot of confidence in his speech, it is always prudent to take this information as just a rumor since there is no official confirmation and both companies (Valve and Sony) have not yet commented on the matter. Gamingbolt adds information to the case, stating that the very Valve had already expressed interest in potentially bringing the game for the PlayStation.
