The HackerField Kickstarter campaign is currently underway, a new, interesting game developed by an all-Italian team based in London, Pizza Illuminati. It is a multiplayer strategic tower defense set in a futuristic scenario. We will play the role of a computer scientist, and we will have to defend our server from hacker attacks in a simulator of the world of cybersecurity.
With Covid-19, Plague Inc is back on everyone’s lips, given the game’s similarities with the pandemic currently underway. Inspired by that type of simulator, Pizza Illuminati is developing HackerField, a cybersecurity simulator. A Kickstarter campaign is currently underway for the game, to which you can contribute by visiting the dedicated page. Here is the trailer dedicated to the story.
HackerField is a multiplayer strategy game with tower defense-style mechanics. Players will be able to choose between two characters. A hacker whose job is to steal data using two weapons, bots to steal information or viruses to damage the system. Or an IT technician who controls the infrastructure and defends it from any attack.
HackerField is currently in development for PC. If the Kickstarter campaign is successful, the Pizza Illuminati team intends to publish the game on Android, iOS, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Xbox consoles.
