The arrival of the new Prince of Persia game from Ubisoft made some fans rejoice and excite for several days before finally disappointed because the game is a VR escape room game like Assassin’s Creed. The good news is, it looks like your disappointment will be healed soon.
This is because Ubisoft seems to have another surprise that they will announce, the Prince of Persia Remake, which suddenly leaked out at a Guatemalan retailer called MAX. Of course, the leaked link that initially appeared on the Resetera forum was immediately deleted. Luckily, one of the forum users, Schlorgan, managed to share a screenshot shared by a Twitter user named Ken Xyro.
Jason Schreier, an investigative journalist for the video game industry who now works at Bloomberg, admits that MAX destroyed all of Ubisoft’s surprise plans for his fans. In other words, he confirmed that Ubisoft is currently working on the Prince of Persia Remake.
It’s not clear which version Ubisoft will remake. Either the Sands of Time version or the 2008 reboot. The image leaked by MAX also appeared to have surfaced on Reddit some time ago. They planned it to be released in the 2020 holiday season or the end of 2020, but this plan could fail because of the COVID-19 pandemic and made it have to be released in 2021.

Of course, we remind you not to trust the information above 100% and consider it a mere rumor. However, you can wait for the certainty of this information when the next Ubisoft Forward is planned to be held in September 2020.
