The developer Mutan announced through the most recent edition of Weekly Famitsu that the party fighter Goonya Fighter: Purupuru Shokkan Edition will be released for PlayStation 5. A release date has not been announced.
Goonya Fighter was first released for Nintendo Switch via the Nintendo eShop in June 2019, having reached 160,000 copies sold since then.
Goonya Fighter: Purupuru Shokkan Edition promises that it will include a new model. It will take advantage of DualSense’s “haptic feedback” technology, which will allow players to feel more of the action within the game through a dynamic response. Online battles seem to be limited to standard mode. New game modes unique to the PS5 will also be added.
