Yesterday, Gearbox showed a new trailer for Godfall, one of the PlayStation 5 launch titles, entirely focused on the Counterplay Games game’s combat system. A few hours later, the game’s three editions were revealed: Standard Edition, Deluxe Edition, and Ascended Edition.
The editions will be the same on both PlayStation 5 and PC (where the game will be an Epic Games Store exclusive). The Standard Edition, of course, only includes the base game. The Deluxe Edition, on the other hand, will also include the first expansion of the game. Finally, the Ascended Edition, in addition to the base game and the first expansion, will include digital cosmetic content such as, for example, a knight’s title, golden weapons, a golden shield, and more.

Players who pre-order the game in its PlayStation 5 version or on the Epic Games Store will receive a Godfall Starter Pack, including some character skill upgrades and some exclusive skins. Furthermore, as a small gem, Gearbox has also added the sword of Zer0, one of the playable characters of Borderlands 3 (at the same event, we discovered that the title developed by Gearbox would also arrive on next-gen).

Godfall will debut at the launch of PlayStation 5 and arrive in parallel and on PC via the Epic Games Store. At the moment, we do not know the release date of the new Sony console, but this could change on Wednesday evening when there will be a new showcase dedicated to the PlayStation 5.
