Ubisoft has ended its support for Ghost Recon Breakpoint, a controversial release that divided the gamer community and failed to satisfy the company fully.
Through social media, Ubisoft Paris has communicated to players that its title, released in October 2019, will no longer receive content and that the last four months represent the final efforts.
Operation Motherland mode, new items such as costumes commemorating the series’ 20th anniversary, and the NFTs were the team’s final efforts in this Breakpoint.
“We will continue to maintain the servers for Ghost Recon Wildlands and Ghost Recon Breakpoint, and we truly hope you continue to enjoy the game for solo or co-op fun with friends.”
The team appreciates the community’s support and love for the series, promising that the feedback given to the game will serve to shape the future of Ghost Recon.
