Recently, things have gotten really loud around Ghost of Tsushima, all thanks to a potential standalone expansion, Ghost of Ikishima. However, it turns out that apart from the aforementioned addition, the Sucker Punch studio has another ace up its sleeve.
On the Entertainment Software Rating Board (ESRB), which assigns age categories to games, a production entitled Ghost of Tsushima: Director’s Cut. The available information shows that the director’s version of last year’s hit is headed for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.
As a reminder, Ghost of Tsushima originally debuted only on the previous generation console, PlayStation 4. Although the premiere of this title on the new Sony equipment was only a matter of time, the next-gen release was never officially announced. Interestingly, rumors have been circulating on the web to suggest that Ghost of Tsushima will hit the PC. Who knows, maybe the director’s cut will appear not only on consoles?
Ghost of Tsushima: Director’s Cut is just one of the recently announced directorial versions of popular games. Death Stranding: Director’s Cut was officially announced at the E3 earlier this month- this title is headed for PlayStation 5.
No additional details about Ghost of Tsushima: Director’s Cut is known yet. However, this release may also include the Ghost of Ikishima expansion, which could debut in parallel as a separate production.
