Genshin Impact has finally updated to version 2.0, an update that brings a mountain of news, including the first part of the Inazuma region and a new playable character, Kamisato Ayaka. The update is now available on PlayStation, PC, and mobile devices and weighs around 6.5 GB on PC and PS4 / PS5, and just under 2 GB on smartphones.
Once logged in, players will immediately receive 600 Primogems and will be able to embark on the new adventure. The Inazuma region is located southeast of Liyue. To reach it, it will be mandatory to complete the mission “Set Sails,” which will be accessible once you reach adventure rank 30. We remind you that the update introduces only three of the six islands that make up the new region and that the other three will come out over the next few months, probably by the end of 2021.
Version 2.0 of Genshin Impact introduces a new explorable area, characters, domains and new items, and brand new timed events. The first, Thunder Sojourn, will debut on July 22 and will ask players to harness the new Electro power obtained in Inazuma to complete a series of challenges and earn Primogems and other rewards. The end date of this event is August 8, 2021.
