Genshin Impact is ready to update one last time before the launch of the massive update 2.2, which will introduce the last of the six islands of Inazuma, the 4-star character Thoma and many other surprises. Before the October update arrives, however, the latest contents of the 2.1 update will be made available, including the highly anticipated banner of Kokomi Sangonomiya.
The leader of the resistance of Inazuma will be available from September 21, 2021, in a new banner that sees her in the company of Xingqiu, Beidou and Rosaria. Kokomi Sangonomiya will be the legendary character of the banner and is meant to be used as a support thanks to his Hydro abilities and the ability to heal companions and increase their attack. Considering that most of his abilities scale with life points, the best weapon available is the Everlasting Moonglow catalyst, available in the new summons banner.
We remind you that, as usual, you can get to know the character better by completing the special mission dedicated to her, unlockable using the purple keys redeemable by completing the daily missions.
Among other new features, the “Moonlight Merriment” timed event kicks off on September 27, allowing players to receive resources, Primogems and a new fish-shaped claymore sword. On September 28, however, the anniversary event will begin, during which it will be enough to log in daily for a week to receive 10 Intertwined Wishes, 80,000 blackberries and some materials for the level up of weapons and characters.
The Genshin Impact update 2.2 will debut on October 13, 2021. It will be presented the week before launch with a live stream. Sumeru, the new explorable region, is expected to be presented in 2022.
