As anticipated by the rumors of last March 24, Epic Games has definitively introduced the mode without constructions within Fortnite. Now all players can select it from the main menu by scrolling through the various Playlists and playing freely in pairs, trios, and teams. The mode is identical to the timed one proposed during Chapter 3, Season 2, so there is no do-it-yourself cover, more movement options, and an additional shield for everyone.
The main mode of Fortnite remains the same as always. Still, the introduction of this alternative mode will certainly be appreciated by those less skilled with buildings and perhaps more interested in strategic positioning and confrontations on a par. Epic Games had never considered removing the main game mechanics from experience, but the excellent feedback convinced the developers to enter the new mode permanently.
Fortnite “Zero Build” is available now on all platforms. The mode will be updated in step with the main one, but it has not been confirmed whether or not it will be used for tournaments. We remind you that Fortnite Season 2 has been live for more than a week and that the third season will debut on June 4, 2022.
