Forspoken is aiming for 4K / 60fps on PS5 and PC, and to ensure maximum image quality it will take advantage of the new AMD FidelityFX Super Resolution technology, implemented in just 24 hours. The confirmation comes directly from the producer of the studio Takeshi Aramaki, who in a recent showcase stated that “the title points to the highest graphic quality ever achieved by an Open World video game”.
“The goal of our studio is to create video games never seen before,” said Aramaki, “a result that can be achieved by blending our art with the latest technologies available. With Forspoken we want to achieve the highest quality graphics ever seen in an Open World video game. A high frame rate and 4K resolution are necessary to ensure gamers have the best possible experience, and the AMD FidelityFX Super Resolution allows us to greatly increase the level of performance. […] We can’t wait for gamers to deliver. their hands on Forspoken and that they see the next-gen graphics made possible by the FS with their own eyes.”

Forspoken will debut in 2022 and will remain PS5 exclusive for at least two years. On PC, doubts about the quality of performance are minimal, while it will be interesting to find out if and which graphics modes will be proposed on Sony’s next-gen console.
