Bandai Namco has decided to remove Fast & Furious Crossroads from all digital stores, starting April 29, 2022. The racing video game, developed by Slightly Mad Studios, had been defined by many as one of the worst gaming products of 2020. After not even two years, the Japanese studio has decided to announce a stop to sales. However, the title will remain in the libraries of those who purchased it along with all the DLCs, and at the moment, there does not seem to be an interruption of the online functions.
Fast & Furious Crossroads is a 2020 racing game released on PS4, Xbox One, and PC, featuring various stars from the Fast & Furious 9 movie, including Vin Diesel. Critics and the public poorly received the game, and after not even two years on the market, Bandai Namco has decided to pull the plug. Despite the game averaging two online players per day on Steam and possibly even fewer on PS4 and Xbox One, the online features will remain active.
Bandai Namco has released dozens of hugely successful products over the past two years. Fast & Furious Crossroads was one of two exceptions, along with Jump Force, which was taken off the market last year February while much more positively received. However, if you are a fan of Vin Diesel, you will be pleased to know that the actor will soon return as the protagonist of another video game, Ark 2 by Studio Wildcard, out this year on Xbox Series X / S and PC.
