Ubisoft has announced the release date for Far Cry 6’s third and final paid DLC.
Joseph: Collapse will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, and Google Stadia next Thursday, February 8, and is included in the Season Pass.
It is, as we said, the third episode of a series of expansions that has the most iconic villains of the franchise as protagonists. The first, Vaas: Insanity, focused on Vaas Montenegro (Far Cry 3), while the second, Pagan: Control, did the same with Pagan Min (Far Cry 4). For the latter, the chosen one is Joseph Seed, the villain of Far Cry 5.
The mechanics of this episode will be similar to the previous ones, with a roguelite type development but set in an alternative version of Hope County in Montana.
According to Ubisoft, this experience “provides a unique opportunity for players to step inside the tortured mind of Joseph, confront his former cult following after the collapse of their faith, and ultimately confront family members as he tries to conquer his inner demons.”
The DLC will also feature co-op, and the Buddy Pass will allow owners to invite their friends who own Far Cry 6 to play the DLC, even if they haven’t purchased it.
To promote the arrival of Joseph: Collapse, the French company has reduced all editions of Far Cry 6 in the different digital stores by up to 40% and offers a 25% discount on the season pass for users of the Standard editions and Gold from the base game.
