Far Cry 6 will be without a Map Editor and Arcade mode for the first time since Far Cry.
During an AMA on Reddit, the developers said that Arcade Mode would not be in the game. The Map Editor was also in that mode, but they are not present in Far Cry 6.
“No, the Arcade mode is not coming back,” said Alexandre Letendre, game director for Far Cry 6. “Removing the mode was a difficult decision for us, but it gives us the opportunity to focus on the campaign. The story puts us right at the heart of a modern guerrilla revolution.”
Fans were curious about this news because fashion has been in every game version since 2008’s Far Cry 2.
Far Cry 5 introduced Far Cry Arcade, where it was possible to create solo, co-op, and multiplayer maps and then share them online. Players also got access to assets from various Ubisoft series.
