The alleged Far Cry 6 tester has shared details about the early stages of Far Cry 6 when players meet the game’s main villain El Presidente, played by Giancarlo Esposito.
According to a post on Reddit, players will face the main villain Anton and his son Diego after the first mission. Somehow you manage to avoid the fight and you find yourself in the open world where the game begins.
After the first mission, you are found by el Presidente and Diego is told to shoot you to gain allegiance or whatever. Anton is guiding Diego through this, pressuring him to kill Dani. Diego is hesitant and you’re able to escape before Anton kills you. He plans to make an example out of you. Now, you are in the open world. You can play whatever missions you want, very similarly to far cry 5, but with different factions contributing to each new interaction with Anton. When working in each separated area missions are somewhat linear and all contributing to the main story.
These details have yet to be confirmed, and perhaps soon we will see this particular sequence in some gameplay cutscenes shortly, but for now, you should be skeptical of everything you just read.
That being said, it’s not uncommon for Far Cry 6 players to get to know the main villain very early, so it certainly sounds realistic.
Far Cry 6 is currently in development for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and Google Stadia.
