According to Niko Partners analyst Daniel Ahmad, Ubisoft announced that Far Cry 6 had been delayed until after April 2021 in its latest financial report. The game was initially scheduled for February 18, 2021.
Ubisoft says the delay is due to the difficulties created by the coronavirus pandemic. Thus, Far Cry 6 will arrive in the next fiscal year, which runs from April 2021 to March 2022. Rainbow Six Quarantine is also scheduled for the same period.
The company detailed what will arrive this quarter (Q3) and the next (Q4) in the report. That is, between October, November, and December, we will have Watch Dogs Legion (arrived today), Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, Just Dance 2021, and Immortals: Fenyx Rising. In January, February, and March 2021, we will have Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time Remake and Riders Republic.
