A few days ago, hackers targeted Elden Ring players on PC and broke their save files. The developers of the game have released a patch that prevents similar situations.
Recall: the intruders invaded the worlds of other users and damaged the file of a given save, which led to the so-called crash, i.e., a forced shutdown of production. After loading the game, it turned out that the character was in an endless loop, constantly falling and dying.
The latest game update – 1.03.2 – fixes the problem. The patch removes the bug activated due to hackers, thanks to which the player is no longer trapped in a death trap.
This, of course, is not the only change that has been made. The creators have eliminated, among other things, a bug that prevents Nephela Loux from completing tasks and a bug related to the operation of one of the abilities.
The full list of patch 1.03.2:
- Fixed a bug that sometimes prevented players from advancing NPC Nepheli Loux’s questline
- Fixed a bug that causes the playable character to die when trying to descend from a spot near Bestial Sanctum
- Fixed a bug that prevented Ash of War, Endures from taking effect
- Fixed a bug in multiplayer that allowed players to teleport others to incorrect map coordinates
