Last year, Kickstarter ended the campaign to raise funds for Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes, a new JRPG game from the creators of the cult Suikoden series known from PlayStation and PlayStation 2.
Ultimately, over $ 4.5 million was raised. The initial amount needed to fund the title was $ 500,000, making it the best-funded title of 2020 and one of the most-supported games in Kickstarter history.
However, it turns out that success has its consequences – the developers announced that due to the huge amount of funds raised, many new gameplay modes are added here. Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes will not go on sale in autumn 2022 as originally announced. It is unknown when the new release date has been set, but we should not expect it sooner than in 2023.
The game will be released on PCs, PS4 and PS5, Xbox One, and Series S / X – if we can believe the developers’ assurances, there are also no plans for it to be an exclusive title for a specific PC platform.
