The announcement of the “new Suikoden game” with the title Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes is indeed news that has soothed its fans’ hearts. That the new game being developed by the original creators of Konami’s series will answer all fans’ wishes for JRPG with hundreds of characters and content that had animated the PlayStation 1-2 earlier.
Just like the Suikoden series, Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes will have hundreds of characters with a variety of features that are quite familiar and only the hand of the creator. However, many fans are hoping to return one of the game’s unique features, namely United Hero Attack.
United Hero Attack is a combination attack between two to three characters with their unique abilities. This unique attack is generally used for crushing stronger enemies such as bosses or defeating all the enemies you are facing. The good news is that they will also implement it in Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes.
Today Rabbit & Bear Studios is showing off its JRPG gameplay video, Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes. The video shows how the prototype version of Unite Hero Attack will work in the game later. Unlike Suikoden, the version of Unite Hero Attack, which is still under development, appears to be very well crafted and almost looks like it is not a prototype at all.
The producer and art director, Junichi Murakami, explained that the version of Unite Hero Attack they showed and other assets would still be better developed. He believes that his team will be able to make fans even more amazed by their work.
Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes is a JRPG game developed by the original creators of Suikoden. Currently, the game is being developed while raising funds through Kickstarter, which achieved its target in just two hours. As of this writing, they have raised US $ 3,293,417 and will still increase in the future.
Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes is planned to be released on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and Nintendo’s newest console, the fall of 2022.
