Dynasty Warriors 9: Empires, the spin-off of Dynasty Warriors 9 with strategic and management components, will be released on February 15, 2022, on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X / S, Nintendo Switch, and PC. The release date has been confirmed by Koei Tecmo and Omega Force in the new gameplay video, which illustrates all the main features of this new chapter of the series.
The new trailer opens with an overview of the character editor, updated and embellished with dozens of new features to allow deep customization of your General and all subordinate officers. The video then focuses on the return of closed maps, a 180-degree turn from the open map system chosen for the ninth chapter. It illustrates the new castle assault mechanics and additions to the diplomacy system.
Dynasty Warriors 9: Empires will debut on February 15 on consoles and PC, and by the end of next week, the demo will be released on all platforms. On next-gen the game will be able to count on a resolution mode (dynamic 4K / 30fps) and framerate (1080p / 60fps).
The game is available for pre-order right now in Standard Edition from € 69.99 (base game) and Deluxe Edition from € 114.99 (includes Season Pass, 6 Gems, ten custom officers, three scenarios, and four additional military units).
