In July last year, an add-on called Hellraid was added to Dying Light, which was a completely separate production in the original plans of Polish developers. However, the plans change, and in the end, Techland decided to only enrich its 2015 work with new content.
Now, however, the mentioned DLC has unexpectedly gained a new life. With the latest update, The Prisoner, a storyline has been added to Hellraid.
Players must travel to the Ba’al Temple to save a mysterious mage named Lucius. Although this description sounds a bit surprising to people who have not had contact with the Hellraid add-on, it should be remembered that this extension introduces medieval themes, among others, dungeons, armor, and skeletons.
In addition to the storyline, The Prisoner update added two new weapons to the game: a bow called Corrupted Justice and a two-handed hammer, Bonecruncher. There will also be new locations and challenging enemies.
We would also like to remind you that Dying Light 2 has recently received a release date. This highly anticipated sequel will debut on December 7, 2021.
