Dying Light 2 Stay Human will include about two hundred different weapons, most of which can be created using a basic crafting system, as stated by Techland in the third episode of the Dying 2 Know More.
According to the words of producer Szymon Strauss, the game will encourage experimentation and preparation before battles, with a resource management system that will allow players to choose which elements to combine to build their terrifying arsenal.
“The world has changed since the events of the first Dying Light, “explained Strauss, “now it is more difficult to find technologically advanced weapons, so players will have to build their arsenal on the fly, using the resources obtained during exploration. [.. .] It is always possible for weapons to break during clashes, so it’s best to be prepared and have more tools of the trade with you before fighting the toughest enemies. “
Strauss has confirmed that the number of tools available to players will be substantial, with over two hundred melees and ranged weapons. The game will also not include firearms and vehicles, so you will need to take advantage of stealth, cover, and parkour to get out of dangerous situations.
Dying Light 2 Stay Human was supposed to debut on December 7, 2021, but the studio recently announced that the game would be postponed to February 2, 2022, to “refine and optimize the experience.”
