Initially expected in the spring of 2020, Dying Light 2 has been postponed until a later date, and a year has passed since the last official developer update. Recently, however, the community manager of Techland has decided to give a small gift to fans during the holidays, confirming the arrival of new information on the game in 2021.
A short statement confirming, if nothing else, that the work on the title is progressing smoothly and that the developers are working to improve the quality of their new project.
The first Dying Light sold 13 million copies from 2015 to 2018, and at least 3 more in the past two years. The sequel is expected by many gamers and at this point, given the wait, we can also expect the release of a next-gen version for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X / S.
