Keep your parkour skills sharp as the news revealed for today’s Dying Light 2 has shown that the game’s dangers are just beginning. The new episode of the Dying 2 Know series – Techland’s show that reveals the latest in the game – brought us a new gameplay trailer, a free digital comic, and more.
The video above allows us to see the infected up close. Several enemies and their respective transformations can be seen, including the Revenant, a new type of infected much more dangerous than the other threats seen previously.
Another interesting revelation to set the tone for the devastated world of Dying Light 2 Stay Human was the 50-page comic book “Banshee: I Am The Cure.” Created by Techland, in partnership with Dynamite Entertainment, it shows us the apocalyptic world of Dying Light. Written by Fred Van Lente (Marvel Zombies, X-Men Noir), nominated for a Harvey Award in Best Series and a Special Humor Award with the HQ Archer & Armstrong, the story chronicles events before the second title of the franchise. And you can read it for free until July 15 on Techland’s official website.
Also, the second episode of Dying 2 Know brought a little more backstage production and sound design. An important collaboration was also revealed with the “father” of parkour, David Belle. He has actively participated in creating the title, lending his moves to an important character in the game. The icing on the cake amidst the chaos of survival was the launch of the Which kind of monster are you?, which lets you see what types of infected you would be in the world of Dying Light.
Dying Light 2 Stay Human will be available for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and PC on December 7, 2021.
