Chinese developer Nekcom Entertainment has announced that DYING: 1983, the latest game in its first-person exploration and puzzle game series, will be released this winter for PlayStation 5. Versions for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox Series, Nintendo Switch, and PC should arrive later.
The game will feature a story full of strange elements and is set in a new world close to reality but different in all ways. It offers double the number of puzzles from its predecessor – DYING: Reborn that was released in 2018 – as well as traps and enemies that will threaten the player’s survival. Players will find hundreds of items that can be used in various ways to solve the puzzles. In total, the game should take more than 10 hours to complete.
DYING: 1983 will be playable at the Nekcom Entertainment booth at WePlay 2020 from November 14-15, with a demo running on the PC.
