After releasing the P40 Pro in April, Huawei is now bringing the P40 and P40 Pro to the market, favouring the camera as a characteristic carried on the Huawei P series.
So, what’s the difference between P40, P40 Pro and P40 Pro +? Following the review.
When viewed at a glance, all three of these phones look the same, especially in terms of size. However, the Huawei P40 Pro and P40 Pro + have curved screens, while the Huawei P40 survives on a flat-screen.
Huawei P40 has a screen of 6.1 inches with a dual front camera on the top left. Meanwhile, the P40 Pro and P40 Pro + have a larger screen of 6.58 inches with the same camera position.
Curved Huawei Pro and Pro + models have thin bezels.
In terms of colour, the Huawei P40 Pro + is available in Ceramic White colour variants. Meanwhile, the Huawei P40 Pro comes in two Deep Sea Blue and Silver Frost colours, while the Huawei P40 is only available in Silver Frost.
Huawei P40 uses three camera settings on the back, with a size of 50MP SuperSensing, 16MP ultra-wide, and 8MP telephoto camera, presenting 3x optical zoom, 5x hybrid zoom, and 30x max zoom.
The three cameras that are owned by Huawei P40 offer a mode of application of artificial intelligence (AI) technology and also a Night Mode.
Whereas the Huawei P40 Pro is equipped with a 50MP SuperSensing lens, 40MP ultra-wide, 12MP telephoto, and a ToF sensor that provides 5x optical zoom, 10x hybrid zoom, and 50x max zoom.
As for the Huawei P40 Pro +, there is an additional 10x optical telephoto zoom lens into the camera set, carrying an array of “SuperZoom” up to 100x max, with 20x hybrid zoom. The camera features in Huawei P40 Pro +, are used for accuracy in touching the position of objects in terms of distance and quality.
As for the front camera, there are double holes or ‘pill’ on all three P40 models. All three of these sophisticated mobile phones have a 32MP selfie camera with a depth sensor.
These three phones are equipped with Kirin 990 5G processor and Huawei Mobile System, where users will get the applications needed from Huawei AppGallery.
Not only that, but these three phones are also equipped with EMUI 10.1. In terms of battery capacity, these three mobile phones have different capacities.
Huawei, P40 has a battery with a capacity of 3,800mAh while the Pro and Pro + use a 4,200mAh battery. Even so, all three phones are equipped with fast charging technology, namely Huawei P40 can do 22.5W fast-charging while the P40 Pro and P40 Pro + reach 40W.
In this case, Huawei also introduces 40W wireless charging on the Pro +, which is claimed to be able to charge without less than 1 hour.
