Blizzard Entertainment has officially announced that the release date for Diablo Immortal will be June 2. This is the first title in the saga developed from scratch with mobile devices in mind, although its arrival on PC has also been confirmed in the form of an open beta.
On the same day, June 2, Diablo Immortal will kick off its open beta on PC, offering cross-play and progression with mobile devices. This means that players will be able to play with the same account on both mobile and desktop and be able to play with other users regardless of their platform.
This open beta of Diablo Immortal for PC will feature all of the game’s features, and Blizzard has confirmed that progress in the final game will carry over at the end of the trial period.
Diablo Immortal will have the six mythical classes of the franchise (barbarian, crusader, demon hunter, monk, necromancer, and wizard) embark on this new adventure, which will also see the return of old acquaintances from previous installments.
” As the first Blizzard game designed from the ground up for mobile, it was important to us to deliver an experience worthy of the franchise,” said Mike Ybarra, president of Blizzard Entertainment. ” So we’ve done a lot of testing and listening to a lot of feedback to create a game that we’re proud to share with players. We’re looking forward to unleashing this epic new chapter in the Diablo saga and hope to see you again at Sanctuary .”
It will be free on both platforms, so starting next June 2, you can enjoy Diablo Immortal on Android and iOS mobile devices and PC (Windows) at no cost.
