Blizzard has revealed the details of the next Diablo 2: Resurrected updates. The creators will focus, among others, on the disappearing saves of the game and characters, i.e. still current problems.
The company’s representative on the official forum informed that internal tests of the solution will start next week, which will ultimately eliminate the problem with the removed save files. The developers want files to be saved on regional servers, which will relieve the global database.
Once the developers have finished checking for changes, the relevant update will appear on the test servers. Only when the authors are sure that the modification actually works, will it be made available to all players.
That’s not all, because next week a patch will be released, which will add information about the estimated waiting time to join the fun, as well as a system that allows you to limit games with different time periods so that the game can better cope with the moments of highest server load.
In addition, major updates are planned to fix various bugs and implement new features. However, more details will be revealed by Blizzard at a later date.
