Destiny 2: The Witch Queen is here, and it’s already recording good numbers for the Bungie game.
In the first hours after launch, close to 290,000 people played Destiny 2: The Witch Queen simultaneously on Valve’s digital platform, a number that is second and only second to the record reached when Destiny 2 arrived on Steam.
In 2019, when it arrived on Steam accompanied by Shadowkeep, Destiny 2 recorded a peak of over 292,000 players and has now managed to get close to beating its best record.
At the time of writing, over 125,000 people are playing Destiny 2: The Witch Queen, and we are talking about the early hours and only on Steam, not counting gamers on consoles.
