Destiny 2, How to Play All Story Quest Version Free for Beginners

Since the transfer of ownership of IP Destiny 2 from Activision to Bungie as the developer, destiny 2 released the free version which will contain a base-game and two expansions namely Curse of Osiris and Warmind. For many people, especially those who have long played Warframe, they are curious as to what form of the game that had shocked him a few years ago. In the new version titled “New Light”, Bungie gives total freedom in playing the game. He no longer restrains you with the main story, which is the source of the strength of the game. You are free to do any activity both story, free-roam, raid, until PvP.

For those of you who are veterans playing the game, you don’t need to bother to play the game anymore because you already know what needs to be done. Either continue the story or PvP. However, for those of you who have just set foot into the game must be confused about what to do after the tutorial is complete. Especially for those of you who want to know what is the underlying conflict in Destiny 2. Well, in this tutorial, I will help you to enjoy the game’s story rather than unclear roaming. Come on, get on with it!

Open Directory and Go to the Tower

Shortly after the tutorial, you will be taken to a social hub called The Tower. You who have just logged in will be able to access it by clicking Open Director and selecting “The Tower” then landing on the icon shown in the picture above.

Mark NPC Amanda Holliday and Go To Her

After landing at The Tower, all you have to do is open the map. Because I use the PC version of the game, I can only say to press the M key as a shortcut. I don’t know what the buttons are for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions. The next step is to look for an NPC named Amanda Holliday, who is in the Hangar like the picture above. Click and mark the NPC then close the map and start walking to find it.

Choose Legacy: Desired Mission Name

From here you can choose one or three of the three main game missions. Starting from the Red War, Curse of Osiris, to Warmind.

Open the Quest Menu Select the Mission and Track

After taking the mission, you need to track one of the tasks. The trick is to open the menu using the “U” button on the PC. The story sequence is as follows Red War -> Curse of Osiris -> Warmind. If you have not completed the Red War, then you must finish it first.

Look for a Place where Mission Begins

After being tracked, an icon will appear on the map that matches the mission you have followed. How to see it is to open the menu then select Open Director and select Destination. After opening the image will appear planet and the original mission icon that occurs, I have included it in the picture.

Begin your mission

After knowing the initial mission that you must go through. You can click on the planet then select the shield icon that represents the mission logo. In the example I gave above was Red War’s first mission entitled “Homecoming”. No, you don’t need to land on the planet unless you need to like the Curse of Osiris mission as shown below.

Complete the Mission and Continue to Expansion

Each story mission is related to one another, so be sure to complete it in sequence. If you have completed the Red War, it will be marked with a credit scene such as the names of the staff working on the game, etc. But if you haven’t met the credit scene, then your story isn’t finished yet.

That’s the way to carry out the primary mission of Destiny 2, which is full of cutscene and dialogue. You who are interested and have completed everything from Red War-> Curse of Osiris-> Warmind in the free version, then you can continue to buy the Forsaken expansion and continue with Shadowkeep as the fourth game expansion.
