Destiny 2: Beyond the Light will be available on November 10, and to pass the wait, Bungie will share various articles dedicated to the expansion on its official website. Today is the turn of the new subclass of the Titans, the mighty Behemoth.
Stasis will be the first new elemental power added to Destiny since its original selection: void, arc, and solar. This new entry expected in Beyond the Light will have consequences on the shooter’s aspects, from history to combat, through customization.
“With the Behemoths, we wanted to emphasize the possibility of exploiting stasis to create battle-altering crystals, transforming the many playing fields. With control of the field, the battle is already won. Result: Behemoths will be able to use stasis abilities for defensive purposes (forming crystalline walls that block enemies and their attacks), or offensive (using crystals to freeze targets). Titans Behemoths will be able to unleash a powerful melee attack: The Shaking Blow. This will see the Titans hurl themselves forward with a burst of stasis at their feet, which will propel them towards the enemy. They can summon a stasis gauntlet and lunge at the target in midair, causing it to stagger to the enemy. Back and slowing down those in the area.”
The Titans will rely on the new Ice Jolt super ability, which will provide them with a mighty stasis glove for the hard punch. Slamming it to the ground, they will create shockwaves that will generate stasis crystals that can freeze all nearby enemies. The Titans will be protected by an armor made of stasis crystals and temporarily become uncontrollable destruction machines. Their leaps will improve in height, distance and speed; enemies will be annihilated in no time thanks to highly upgraded bodies to bodies.
Destiny 2: Beyond the Light will be available on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and even Stadia from November 10.
