Supertrick Games has decided to postpone the release of Deathverse: Let It Die, the free battle royale born as a spin-off of the free-to-play action game Let It Die. Announced during the October 2021 State of Play, the video game entered Beta this spring and was supposed to debut in June. Still, after two months of silence, the studio has announced that it will take a few more months to complete work and solve problems reported by fans.
Deathverse: Let It Die takes place after the events of the previous game, Let It Die, and prompts players to strive for fame in the survival reality show “Death Jamboree”. The show takes place in a virtual world known as Deathverse, created by the Yotsuyama group as a destination for people’s souls, where everyone is thirsty for violence and wants to witness real carnage. In this context, players can create their characters and dive into the fray, fighting in a sixteen-player battle royale with insane weapons and equipment.
Deathverse: Let It Die was supposed to be released in June, but due to the limited open beta, in which instability and balance issues were reported, it was postponed to this fall. The game will only be released on PS4 and PS5, but if successful, it could also arrive on PC.
