Game Informer recently revealed new details on Deathloop, the Arkane Studios game due out on May 21st on PS5 and PC. The newspaper shared a new gameplay video showing ten of the very original firearms used by the protagonists, necessary to eliminate the eight targets on the Blackreef island and exit the time loop.
The video shows how some of the most original “work tools” work. The machete is a melee weapon similar to those to which the Dishonored series has accustomed us, lethal and ideal for eliminating enemies without revealing its presence. The PT-6 Spiker is an extremely accurate nail gun, while the Rapier is a single-shot rifle ideal for dealing with medium-range targets. There is a sort of light machine gun, a sawn-off barrel, a machine gun, and a large-caliber semi-automatic. The incredible freedom of movement, which also, in this case, seems to reproduce the “Blink” power already seen in Dishonored, will undoubtedly allow you to witness great plays.
Deathloop will be available from May 21, 2021, and according to a recent interview, the game will remain a PS5 exclusive despite the recent acquisition of ZeniMax Media. Most likely, this is the latest Sony exclusive developed by a Bethesda studio.
