Deathloop has received a hotfix for PC. The patch was implemented on Tuesday and will stop the game’s stuttering.
The patch notes of the new update mention the possible stuttering when players move the camera with the mouse. The patch also states that the developers are aware of stuttering for high frame rate players and that a fix is in the works.
“This hotfix addresses the problem that some PC players experience when the mouse controls the camera. This results in a kind of stutter,” the patch notes read. “In addition, we are looking at another solution to an issue that causes stuttering. Players with high frame rates are also affected by this. We will update further as soon as we have more information.”
Stuttering on PC has been present in the game since its release on September 14. Many players think the Denuvo anti-piracy software is the cause, but testers have pointed out other issues, and the patch notes seem to agree.
Deathloop is now available on PC and PlayStation 5.
