Bethesda has released a new Deathloop trailer dedicated to the uses of DualSense on PS5. The controller will simulate a weapon hitch by pressing the R2 button, and the tactile sensation will change depending on the weapon. In addition, the haptic feedback will follow our every step with the vibration, and the controller’s speaker will reproduce the noises of the radio.
Deathloop ‘s signature use of the controller, which made headlines last year, is represented as a weapon that jams during the action, making pressing the R2 button a much, much more difficult task. Each weapon is also said to be unique as Deathloop follows in the footsteps of Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War with different types of trigger feedback tied to each weapon.
Thanks to the haptic feedback, our controller will vibrate with every step, reproducing walking and running and even sliding. The built-in loudspeaker completes the list of functions by reproducing the noises of the radio. Of course, the audio can be redirected to the headphones if we choose to wear them. All of this can be experienced from September 14, 2021, when Deathloop arrives on PS5.
- Deathloop will not allow players to use the quick save
- Deathloop will remain PS5 console exclusive until at least September 2022
