Badland Publishing and developers CO5MONAUT and Stas Pisarev announced that the Playstation 4, Xbox One and Switch versions of the Death Crown real-time strategy game have been postponed to March. Originally, the title would arrive on February 11th. The PC version via Steam has been available since August 2019.
“Although today was the day chosen for Death Crown to finally hit the market, we regret to announce that, in our efforts to achieve the highest quality on each of the platforms on which the CO5MONAUT and Stas Pisarev title will be released, its definitive launch has been postponed until March, ”Badland Publishing said in a press release.
In Death Crown, the player embodies his death, while taking part in frantic battles in real-time. With a simple objective, just to destroy enemy fortresses and prepare their armies for this, the player needs to favor fast and direct strategies, focusing on accelerated matches and eliminating the long campaigns of games of the genre.
The game is very focused on a system of immediate action and reaction and its asset is its pixelated 1-bit art. In addition to the 3 main campaigns, the game will have a Domination Mode, where players will compete in a rank where the best score is achieved by completing 30 missions with only 3 lives. It will be possible to play cooperative and competitive locally.
