During the showcase organized by Electronic Arts to show the progress of the development of Dead Space Remake, EA Motive has finally unveiled the launch date of the ambitious remake of survival horror: the game will be available starting from January 27, 2023, on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X / S, with the development team showing the benefits of the Frostbite game engine.
It was certainly an interesting event promoted by Electronic Arts to share with Dead Space fans the status of the works for the expected remake. During the live broadcast, the software house unveiled the survival horror’s official launch date, confirming its arrival on PC and consoles in the first days of 2023.
Dead Space Remake will be available starting January 27 next year. It will be able to count on the use of the Frostbite Engine to make the atmosphere that will envelop the protagonist Isaac Clarke even more disturbing.
During the live broadcast, the developers showed a series of artworks that highlight the work done by the team to evolve the game environments on a visual level, also focusing on the huge leap made in terms of lighting and visual effects to make the gaming experience even more creepy.
EA Motive also showed practical examples of how, on a purely aesthetic level, video games have made giant steps forward in almost 15 years, from the release of the original to the launch of the remake. It can be easily seen by comparing the original models of the flamethrower and the Ripper with those still work in progress that will be present in this makeover.

The developers have promised an in-depth look at the project: the complete reveal of the survival horror will take place in the fall, just in time for Halloween, to prepare fans for the official debut on the shelves next year. However, some other streaming events dedicated to specific aspects of the video game cannot be excluded.
Dead Space Remake will be available on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X / S on January 27, 2023.
