EA recently announced the remake of Dead Space and, as might be expected, generated curiosity among investors who tried to learn more about the project in the latest financial presentation.
Asked for more details about the return of Dead Space, Andrew Wilson, CEO of EA, commented that the project was born because there are huge requests from fans for the return of the series and that despite having revealed it now, it doesn’t arrive anytime soon.
“We’ve just presented a tiny trailer for Dead Space or a nice preview of Dead Space, but there’s not much I can share,” said Wilson (thanks to Wccftech).
“It’s still a little way off, but the studio is developing it. What I can say is that it’s one of the great games in our catalog and there was an extraordinary drive to bring it back to existing gamers and the next generation of gamers and we are excited to add it to the catalog over time.”
Wilson also said they would share more about the Dead Space remake over time, “one of the games we were most asked for” right after Skate, and that the community response has been very positive.
