Motion Twin and Evil Empire have announced The Queen & the Sea, Dead Cells’ third paid DLC. Last year the developers promised that they would continue to support the game for the full duration of 2021, and today it was confirmed that support would continue for at least another year, with The Queen & the Sea expansion set to release during the first quarter of 2022.
Dead Cells: The Queen & the Sea will conclude the DLC trilogy that began with The Bad Seed in 2020 and continued with Fatal Falls in 2021. The new expansion will introduce two new biomes, called “The Infested Shipwreck” and “The Faro “(The Lighthouse), new weapons, enemies, and of course, a magnificent final boss, which once defeated, will unlock an alternate ending. Below you can access the Steam page and take a look at the first images.
Dead Cells: The Queen & the Sea will be offered at the usual launch price of € 4.99, a small amount for the quality of content present in each expansion. Motion Twin confirms that the proceeds will help the developers finance the upcoming Dead Cells DLC and the studio’s new project.
We remind you that Dead Cells is available for purchase on PS4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC (via Steam and Epic Games Store).
