CD Projekt RED seems to have their hands full. It is possible that things would have been a bit different if Cyberpunk 2077 hadn’t been almost literally inundated with bugs at the time of its launch. Although the developers have been working on fixing their work for a year, we already know that no new patch will be released to improve the gameplay by the end of December.
Back in September, most of the development team was involved in the repair of the game, but now things are a bit different. The latest financial list of Reds reveals that now much fewer developers are working on patches for Cyberpunk 2077 than before. Most of the Reds are involved in expanding this title, another project related to Gwent, and a game from the Spokko studio.
When talking about Gwent, it should be remembered that the developers are constantly working on developing this card game. On December 5, during the final of the third season of Gwent Masters, a detailed list of upcoming content will be presented.
The mentioned game from the Spokko studio is the mobile production of The Witcher: Monster Slayer, which works with the use of augmented reality technology.
As for the two biggest hits – the next-gen versions of Cyberpunk 2077 and The Witcher 3 will not appear until next year. We will enter Night City on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X in the first quarter of 2022, and we will hunt monsters on new consoles only in the second quarter of 2022.
It is also worth mentioning the recent acquisition of The Molasses Flood studio, which is now under the CD Projekt RED banner. This development team is currently working on a new game belonging to one of the universes subordinate to the Polish studio. There were even rumors about a potential Witcher spin-off.
