Just this morning, information was released to the network that Cyberpunk 2077 may soon return to the PS Store, from which it was removed by Sony some time ago. Representatives of the gaming giant decided to take up this topic and made an official statement on the Polish super-production.
We learned that Cyberpunk 2077 would return to the PS Store on June 21, but Sony suggests players play via PS5 or PS4 Pro, as CD Projekt RED’s work still requires additional fixes.
“SIE confirms that Cyberpunk 2077 will return to PlayStation Store on June 21, 2021. Players may experience issues with the PS4 version, but the CD Projekt RED team is constantly working on fixing it. For your own convenience, we recommend playing on PS4 Pro or PS5 ” – we read in the official statement of Sony.
As a reminder, Sony removed Cyberpunk 2077 from the PS Store shortly after its premiere, when it turned out that the PlayStation 4 version of this title had many bugs. Over the past months, Polish developers have been working hard to fix their work and have released several huge patches so far. However, this title still needs some extra polish.
When discussing CD Projekt RED, it is necessary to cite the recent news, which shows that Polish developers have seriously approached the recent source code leak. The case is still dealt with by the Police Headquarters and the State Office for Personal Data Protection.
