The relationship between the Franchise Corpse Party and Nintendo still seems inseparable. This is because Nintendo Switch ensures that it will remake the horror game “Corpse Party: Blood Covered… Repeated Fear” from 3DS at the end of 2020.
This port will involve new characters, additional scenarios from 3DS, and voice actors that will fill in new characters. There is no definite date for its release yet, but they confirmed that it would launch in 2020 for Japan on their official Twitter account.
Earlier in July 2020, the Corpse Party Twitter account gave its fans a “threat” message.
In the message above, they only say “Tadaima,” which means in Indonesian, namely “I’m home” or “I’m back.” This has led fans to speculate that there will be another remake for the original game.
This speculation was finally answered after the Corpse Party Twitter account posted that (if translated), they would remake “Corpse Party: Blood Covered… Repeated Fear” for the Nintendo Switch console. In their post, they also added that the release date would be announced soon via the Twitter account.
“Corpse Party: Blood Covered… Repeated Fear” was first released in 2012 for the PlayStation Portable platform; then, it was re-released in 2015 for the Nintendo 3DS Platform. However, please also note that this game is a remake of the original Corpse Party game released in 1996.
