Control Ultimate Edition will be released on Steam on August 27

505 Games distributor and development team Remedy Entertainment has announced that it will release the PC version of Control Ultimate Edition through the Steam Store on August 27, 2020, and will be available through the Epic Games Store on September 10, 2020.

The PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions of the game will be released as a digital download on September 10, 2020, and will be released as a disc in late 2020. PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X versions of the game will be released as Digitally downloaded in late 2020 and available as a disc in early 2021.

PlayStation 5 makes VRR available starting this week

For those who purchased the PlayStation 4 version of Control Ultimate Edition, they will be able to upgrade to the PlayStation 5 version, and those who buy the Xbox One version will be able to upgrade to the free Xbox Series X version. Still, those who own the original Control version will not.
