Computex is one of the Technology events that is arguably very large and also most-awaited, because usually when Computex is held, there will be a lot of vendors – starting from Gaming peripherals to PC Components, even showing off their latest products—starting from the Gaming Gear to the latest and updated PC components on display there.
But since the emergence of Covid-19 and has become a Pandemic, all sectors starting from Economy, Tourism to Culinary have been affected. Not to mention that now COVID – 19 has reached 8 million people who have been infected with the virus (Source: Worldometers.info). Besides, Taiwan has become one of the countries in Asia that have become an example for the world because the state of Taiwan is practically free from COVID – 19 because positive cases in Taiwan can be said to be under dozens, namely only five active cases based on data from Worldometers.info.
To prevent the addition of positive cases, COVID 19 inevitably seems like Taiwan has to back off or cancel the Computex event. At first, Computex was postponed towards September 28 to September 30. But now Computex is officially backing off their schedule to be more precise next year on June 1, until June 5, 2021.
But there is no further information whether Computex will be held as usual (open) next year or will be limited, so we wait for the latest news later, because we know Pandemic COVID – 19 is still haunting us all.
